This place needs a serious overhaul of hairdressers and need to make sure the hairdressers can actually pass the state board before they allow them near client's hair!!
Waited a half hour only to wait another ten more minutes so the stylist could have a cig break at her own leasure an hour before the shop closes. Walked I'm at 6:05 walked out ten of 7 ....Not impressed. Watches a stylist burn hair and watched another butcher a little girls ends.....So glad I did not sit in any of the chairs. Guess I'm gonna have to pay more for a good trim. Sad to see a good store filled with poor stylists.
I have been here a few times and haven't had too bad an experience. Until today. I recently permed my hair and wanted to get a slight trim to get rid of the fried ends as well as add a few layers for volume. I sincerely hope the girl who cut my hair was new, otherwise there is no excuse for her lack of professionalism and plain bad haircut. After she cut my length, she stood back to ask how it was. There was visibly a 1 1/2 inch difference in length between sides!! When I asked her to even it out, she barely cut it and stood back again to ask if it was ok. This happened 2 more times and my hair was STILL visibly uneven. I then pulled the ends of my hair to show her it was still uneven. She cut it a 4th time and things seemed manageable. Fast forward to her putting curling product in my hair and not only did she not know what product to put in my hair, when she went to put it in, the hair clippings were still all over her hands that she put into my hair with the product. My hair is waaay too short, about 2 inches shorter than I asked for and most likely uneven. To top it all off, I had to go home and change clothes before going back to work because of all the clippings falling down my back.
I went in on saturday 8/5 to get my haircut for my bday. Noticed IMMEDIATELY 2 employees outside smoking. When i went in and was checked in i noticed one other employee om her phn while the other was cutting hair. I sat 25 min befor called and at that time another employee desides she needs a "cactus anne" break. So i should have left then but i didnt.. i was called ,sat down and my hair was LITTERLY SCREWED UP BEYOND REPAIR!! I WENT IN WITH HAIR TO THE BOTTOM OF MY NECK AND LEFT OUT WITH IT ABOVE MY EARS. I FLIPPED OUT ON THE STYLEST BC I CLEARLY SHOWED HER 8 PICTURES OF MY PREVIOUS HAIRCUT FROM THE SAME LOCATION OUTSIDE IF THE SALON. SHE MESSED ME UP EXTREAMLY..HANDS DOWN I WILL NEVER EVER EVER GO THERE AGAIN!!
I have been going here for 5yrs. Got my first "bad" haircut recently. Netta redid the cut, no problem. She was friendly, and gof a good cut.
Love love love this place for haircut. Joy is very nice and does an amazing job.
