There is no doubt in my mind that when I went to express my utter frustration that I did so in a raised voice. I did not yell or curse, but I was was agitated and I am sure I spoke loudly. I'm pretty sure I said "this is utterly ridiculous" and other such sentiments. It was utterly ridiculous.
Their regular day-to-day employees have always been professional, and this is my one and only bad experience there (an awful manager). But it's left enough of a bad taste that I don't think I could ever walk back in there again. At least not until they hire new management anyway.
The manager came over and she told me I needed to calm down and lower my voice. Not-what is the issue here-how can I help? Just-you need to lower your voice. My husband thankfully stepped in between us and told her in no uncertain terms that she was not going to speak to his wife like that.

I will never patronize that business again. They took my order, took my deposit, hung up on me three times, did not complete any of the work they promised to do, and then had the audacity to tell me I needed to calm down. Now when I see the commercials about the "HELPFUL HARDWARE PLACE" I want to scream....They made no attempt to apologize to us, made no attempt to tell us why this had happened, made no attempt to resolve this issue in any way except by issuing a refund to get us out of the store. So we went over to Lowe's, and they were happy to help.
This is a great hardware store. Most definitely if you need help finding products and getting advice about them There's a screen and glass repair dept. U can get your ripped or broken screens fixed they don't have tempered glass but can put plexiglass in window frames.
We got our deposit back and left the store.
I went to ACE to have some screens made. I ordered 5 screens on May 1st, 2015 They took a $75.00 deposit on that day and told me to expect completion somewhere between 7-10 days. I waited two weeks. I called , got put on hold, got hung up on. Twice. Three weeks into this, my husband visits the store.He had also tried calling and was hung up on. The screens are still not done. He is told they will be ready the next day. It's now May 23rd.....We went back, now three weeks later, at about 2:30 PM and the screens are not ready and no one knows anything about it. So I ask to speak with a manager.
Great service and good selection. I needed a specific stihl piece for my chainsaw that lowes and home depot didn't have. The had the piece at this Ace and also had a stihl expert to help me find it.
Went to buy an advertised item none in stock on first day of sale two on order one sold . Pay for it and get it when it comes in (if?). Not a great way to do business.
