The pictures on the website are completely deceiving. Read the reviews! The pool as aforementioned was black n screamed infectious disease. After being assigned two dirty rooms. The third time was finally the charm but hardly charming. The room was "cleaned" but the carpet was gross. The sheets had stains on. The picture frame had a dead, squished, fossilized bug. To top it off there was a motorcycle gang staked outside our room that thought it necessary to gun their engines at 12, 1, 2, and 3 in the morning. Take heed to the reviews and do not stay here.
I was not expecting much when I booked a room on a return trip home earlier this week.. I live locally and did not have a high opinion of the property, but the price was right. Wow, did Days Inn ever change my opinion........I as I impressed with the updated room, high quality bed and bedding. A microwave and fridge in the room were a necessity for me and were provided standard with no extra charge. The staff is friendly and helpful.....forget a toiletrie item? Just ask for it. Breakfast is offered daily, even on weekends. Most hotels limit this to week days. They always offer 2 hot items, cereal, oatmeal, various bread and yogurt, juice , fruit.....coffee is also provided. This location is now my official "I need a break " hotel and I will return.
rooms smelled like smoke. flies everywhere. not all the rooms have irons and ironing boards or places to hang your clothes. beds are ok. hot water takes awhile to heat up. not a bad place for a day or so if you're on a budget. definitely better than the Quality Inn and Sleep Inn if that makes you feel better!!
My question to you, does your company or corporate know or are aware that your beds have a bed bug infestation and that your rooms are clearly not cleaned or held to sanitation standards? From the sign seeking experienced housekeepers, it is clear that management has some knowledge that there is a lack of cleanliness at this facilities
We were in town for a college graduation so I did not have time to alert the front desk or speak to a manager in the morning before leaving. I do have plenty of photos of the bites. I did notice underneath the Days Inn sign turning in, the sign read, "looking for experienced housekeepers."
My boyfriend and I checked into Days Inn last night, December 19th, 2017. We had a room reserved for a king size bed, nonsmoking. When we arrived, we were told that all the king sized beds were broken and that the ones that were available, the front desk did not have a key to get in them. (Yes, this is what she told us). She offered us a double for the same price. Disappointed, we accepted. We were given our room keys and went on our way. When we got to the room, the room was located in a smoking section. The whole room was filled with cigarette smoke. We went back to the front desk and asked for a room change and she insisted that the room that was given to us was a non-smoking room. My boyfriend checked her floor plan and discovered that she indeed gave us a room in the smoking section. She did take care of us and gave us another room. Our next room was fine. My boyfriend and I settled in our final room and we went to sleep around 12:30pm. I began feeling really itchy around 1:15am, I was awoken to bumps and bites all over my neck, hands, and legs. I ended up not sleeping the rest of the night due to the discomfort. I had learned that it was bedbugs.
Booked a room for the cheaper rate than ocean city. Needed up they gave my room to someone else, within no time they gave us the sweet room! Even we got the room we booked it would be 5 stars. Was very enjoyable weekend!
