that's still not the worst part. I pulled a giant hair from the middle of our dessert after we got home.
Always loved going here, sadly was disappointed that brushetta was taken off the menu, one of the main reasons I eat here. Not only that, but had a whole center stalk from the lettuce in my salad. Very disappointed.
****edit management offered a significant gift certificate to give one more chance. While I didn’t get the chance to speak with him, we did finally go again during lunch. Can’t remember the young waitresses name but she was very nice, personable, and friendly. Service was much better but they didn’t have many people there this time. Smell still lingered, no hair this time. I was still very turned off by that experience and while i would continue to be apprehensive, the gesture was very impressionable and I did truly appreciate his consideration for our disdain. That’s how you keep people coming back
I had a great experience here last night. The food was great with plenty of flavor and the service was top-notch. I'm never disappointed when I eat here. 5 stars *****
wait staff was almost constantly standing around and laughing
This used to be my favorite place to go and splurge. 10/10 will not return which is a huge shame. Our waitress, Key, was kind but extremely slow. Took almost 10 minutes to get 5 drinks, another waitress had to assure us our drinks were coming. We were served 3 breadsticks for 5 people which were cold with the assurance that wed get more in a few minutes, Which we did, with salad. Our drinks needed refill and salad and I slurped on ice for quite a while. She said she'd be right back with drinks and salad. Our dinners then arrived... before our refills and salad, close to 10 min later. None of this was a big deal. It was the ending.
The restaurant had a foul smell the minute you walked in tht made our stomachs turn.
And I was pretty appalled tht the waitress situated near us asked her table to fill out a good survey for her at the end. She had multi colored hair and was older if tht helps. I know this isn't fine dining but it was very tacky to ask for a survey at a restaurant that requires (or used to require) strong etiquette and fine dining staff attire.
So so disappointed. Dunno if it's new management but I'd sooner spend $80 elsewhere.
She brought 6 boxes and one regular sized bag. I immediately asked for another bag knowing we'd need it. At the same time I asked for dessert. Dessert came about 10 minutes later... still no bag. I reminded her that I needed a bag. At this point my family began to the car. 13 minutes passed. 13 minutes. For a bag. I stuffed what I could in the one I had and carried the rest with my hands.
The entire places smells like a wet sponge filled with bacteria. digusting. I couldn't get over the smell of the entire place.
We called ahead and hostess told us she could put our name on the list for a 30 min wait. We got there 28 minutes later and rude hostess said "well you still have to wait 15 minutes". What's the point of telling us we can get on the list if we can't ?
I love coming here BUT the bathroom floor is always sticky and it would be great if they had seat covers here for the toilet.
