She didn't even check the back, or decide to check the computer to see if they were showing any possible in stock... I left immediately after that just amazed at the horrible service. No wonder online shopping is becoming more and more popular, with people like that in retail!
Just thought I'd let everyone know why to avoid a store like this one.
Went in there this morning to look for a movie that came out today on Blu-ray/DVD. There was only one sales associate there that I saw, and she was I guess putting some new releases away in the aisles. She did not ask me if I needed help at all, or welcome me to the store, until five minutes after I was in there, and walked by her.
I used to LOVE this store. Customer loyalty completely. But now they are moving into less music and movies and more into merchandise. The workers are always willing to help, however they are understaffed. Would recommend for a movie lover, but always check prices around.
When she did finally speak to me, she just said good morning, and thanks for coming in the store. Didn't ask if I needed help at all, so I asked for help, to look for this movie. It was a re release, so I noticed older copies of the movie on the shelf. I told her about the new one that came out today, and she just gave me a look and said "Yeah, um if it's not out there (pointing down to the wrong aisle, they recently rearranged the store) then chances are we don't have it."
Rude employees that curse at customers and refuse to give their names when asked. Why is this store still open?
I don't know what side of the bed these comment people woke up on. But I have been going here for years and have never had a bad experience here. Yes you might have to look for someone. But guess what, that means they are working.
The other F.Y.E stores I've gone into had a lot better (and nicer) associates than anyone currently at the Salisbury location.
Terrible service! Strongly recommend any one to avoid this place at all cost (not only because the prices are too high, but the employees are not helpful at all).
Great Place For Music. Especially Older Rock and Metal that's so hard to find,. They even burn You CD's from a long library of out of print Selections
