Horrible experience! I have called back and forth to both the location and customer service yet nobody can help me! I attempted to rent a car on June 19th and was told repeatedly that my card was declined. Later on that night, after losing $267.00 dollars in hotel reservations for not being able to reach my destination, I discovered that an authorization for $289.00 had been placed on my card. I returned to the location to dispute this on the 20th, yet nothing happened. The 800 number refused to help me. I asked to speak to a manager and nobody would let me. As I type this review, the $289.00 dollars is still authorized on my card. I am angry that Hertz refuses to even knowledge the fact that I lost $267.00 dollars in hotel fees because of their error. I do not care that the computer at the airport was not working properly....Yet?? All that I have been offered is $50 dollars off of my next rental. Now why on earth would I want to ever rent from Hertz again???? Not in this lifetime! SHADY, SHADY, SHADY COMPANY! AWFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE! DO NOT RENT FROM THEM, YOU WILL BE SORRY!
