The office staff is usually pleasant and accomodating.

My daughter, who is now four, usually sees Dr. Lisa Yamakawa M.D. She has been a great physician for an infant growing into a toddler. Dr. Yamakawa has small children of her own, relates well to young children and is a supporter of breastfeeding. She has always been very gentle and caring with my daughter, and usually adds in good advice that you hadn't thought about asking for. However my experiences with this pediatrics office has changed over the years.

Something else that I would like to ad--This medical center pushes psychostimlants on children that don't necessarily need them. They are VERY dangerous and addictive medications(also known as Ritalin or speed) that have similar effects on the brain as the illegal street drug known as cocaine. There are advertisements for these medications located all over the waiting area, and within the reach of the children. Some people are okay with the mass prescribing of these medications, but I am NOT.

After the nurse came back to struggle with my daughter to give her four vaccinations, she was even more rude than before. This was a bad experience for the both of us, and I will NOT be taking her back unless she having a health issue that is greatly affecting her quality of life. Even in that case, I will probably seek out a different professional or set of professionals.

Later during the visit she became very anxious because her clothes were off. I held her and explained that she had to get some vaccinations, but it was okay because I would be with her the whole time. When the doctor came in my daughter reacted to her with terror. The doctor told me that this was my fault and that her extreme anxiety was due to my not making trips more often to the medical center. I highly disagree with that opinion and I would appreciate if her and others there would leave that kind of opinion to myself and psychiatric professionals.

We love Dr. Celeste! We have seen the other 3 doctors and like them, but he is our favorite. The office staff is friendly and it is clean. We never have to wait very long, which is appreciated with a young child! They also will make time to see you on a Saturday or Sunday if you have an emergency.

I love this doctor!

Both of my children see physicians at Children's Medical Group. We are always able to get a convenient appointment and they usually see us in a timely fashion. The waiting area, hallways and examination rooms are always clean and well kept. There is always sufficient parking and the pavement and walkways are always free of ice or debris.

Drs. Celeste, Panni, and Clendenen are very capable and knowledgable physicians. I personally request Dr. Celeste for all visits. I REFUSE to see Dr. Lisa Yamakawa. She has missed diagnoses on my own children (RAD/asthma) and undertreated MRSA infections in my friends children, which has caused life long scarring. In my opionion, she is a liability.

My last visit with them was very negative and unpleasant for both my daughter and I. I was ushered into the examining room with my daughter by a nurse, who asked me to have her remove some clothing for vaccinations and to have her urinate in a sample cup. I know my daughter very well. I responded to her, "I'm not going to be able to do that. She is anxious and is only four." The nurse said very harshly, "Most kids that age can do it.", and she shut the door briskly. I was slightly confused by it. I found it very rude and unprofessional. Luckily my daughter stated that she did have to urinate, so I took her into the restroom and have it a shot. I explained to her in a very calm tone what the cup was for and why the doctor needed it. I instructed her what to do, as I helped her and even asked, "Please". She was very nervous and stated that she didn't need to go anymore. She is a worrisome girl, so I understood, didn't make a big stink and told her it was okay.

what kind of doctor hires a rude receptionist, I do not get it. I asked to speak to the office manager and she said we are not interested and hung up on me ... if you have questions about the office or employment DO NOT CALL THIS OFFICE or work for their rude staff
