I had visited the Salisbury MD location on 07/12/17 looking for a treadmill. They called for assistance and the young man was very nice. I asked about another piece of equipment; and if I bought two could I get some sort of discount? He called over his microphone, manager denied. Ok, so he goes to check on both pieces (if in stock), the manager comes out to look at the second machine, doesn't acknowledge me as a customer nor that I was breathing the same air. I then communicated that I would not be interested in the second piece, because it's broken on the floor, as is, the machine sitting right next to it. It's a deterrent for the customer to see broken equipment, because I wouldn't want it to break on me like that... the manager just looked at me and walked away -- as did the young man who had been assisting. Incredibly unprofessional. Now I know what I shop on-line, because customer service is ALL but GONE in our Country, so are the Malls; and now I know why.
friendly staff who knows what they're talking about. I was in to buy kayaks, as soon as I walked in the door people were asking me if i needed anything! Our "helper" was the nicest guy you'll ever meet. wen we bought the kayak they carried it for us. :) (oh the kayak we bought was a pelican kayak, it's great)
I had visited the Salisbury MD location on 07/1/17 for my bike service. i am very much satisfied with the service it was great service & i would recommend this store for any bike service.
Have had up and down experiences at this store. The first time I ever visited this particular Dick’s, (a few months ago) The gentleman in footwear gave me great service and was very knowledgeable on what I needed. I usually go here for golf items, but after the past two trips in, I don’t know that I’ll ever be back. I’ve probably gone in 9-10 times over the past 3 months and always found what I needed and was helped with all my questions. (I appreciated the worker did not act irritated or annoyed even though I had many questions my first few times as I’m new to golf) however, the past two trips that I’ve been in there, about two weeks ago, I was treated so disrespectfully that I wanted to complain to the manager, but I never do that...maybe I should have. More specifically just three days ago (probably the last time I’ll ever be in there) I had just a few questions about the clubs they display on a wall, and the same older gentleman who treated me poorly two weeks prior, acted as though I had no business being anywhere near the air he breathed. Yes I’m new to golf, but I understand the sport and I’m certainly an educated human who could comprehend simple answers to reasonable questions. I went in there with a budget of $800 to get a new set of clubs and walked out with nothing and swore I’d never walk back in. If this man didn’t have the time of day to help me with a fairly simple decision based on a few questions, maybe he shouldn’t be in customer service. Just saying. Man at the register who rang up my drink was nice though, I guess that’s something.
Manager Paul was so helpful and he did the price match for my bike accessory and free shipping . please continue the great service :) :)
Worst customer service ever!!!!! Needed help in shoe dept...has to ask THREE times to get help...then the guy who helped us was completely oblivious to our needs!!!! The only helpful person today was the guy at the register going into the mall.
