I had tires rotated and an oil change - we asked them to look into some brake issues when we were there. The tech didn't do reset the oil life monitor, the tire monitor. Not only did they not check the brakes, they brought the vehicle out with "Check Brake System" Flashing. Horrible Service Horrible. What is more Heather, "Manager" was supposed to call me today to help resolve the problem. Needless to say, no call!
tire pressure light came on after I left. had to go to a real shop for them to fix what they did. They went to get lug nuts for it and took an hour and came back without them. seemed like they were training new people why while they worked on my car. not good at all.people came in screaming about mistakes that they probably did.
I have bought tires at Sears for years, never again!
I got 4 new tires mounted balanced with a full alignment. Had the tires rotated and balanced on schedule by them (Sears). Had alignment checked every time they were balanced. I now have "wear" problems with the tires that they feel I caused. They told me I needed an alignment until they looked at the service records. You'll get the run around there. Do not recommend go to a real tire shop.
I went to Sears Auto as a walk-in on Sept. 4th. waited for 15 minutes, the 3 people working the counter all went in the back and I was never helped. I went back on Sept. 8th with an appointment I made online for 12 PM. First they didn't have the appointment yet, when I called ahead. Got there at 11:50 (1st in line) stood in line for 20 minutes Finally they took my info and said my car would be the next to go in the bay. At 12: 45, two cars were pulled in. Neither was mine. I waited another 20 minutes, went out front and asked for my key and was out of there. Hence, my oil change was not done. Will NOT be going back. Had my oil change done elsewhere for the same price (with no coupon) and was out in 30 minutes, TOTAL. Someone needs to get their crap together!!!!! GOOD LUCK with that! Totally PISSED!!! Like I said, I will not be back and word of mouth is very powerful.
Had the same problem. Went in to get a tire due to a flat and a few hours later the tire pressure light came on. Went back and they reset light. It came right back on so I'm gueesing they broke a sensor or didn't reset properly. Called in to see if the sensor was broken in tire if it could be fixed didn't get an answer. They need to see it to tell me. Well I don't want them breaking anything else so I will just go to my reliable shop where they will fix it the first time. I know it could be something else but atleast be willong to fix somethong that you broke. I'm not believing that the light is broken it came on right after leaving their shop.
