Dr. Mehta is one of the best physicians on the eastern shore! He is very professional, thorough and caring. He takes interest in his patients well being and takes the time to listen to your concerns. I would highly recommend him to anyone.
Dr. Mehta is a very conscientious doctor, sometimes I think a little bit too much; I'm used to doctors who will cut corners and just renew meds and prescribe over the phone, but he likes to follow through and see me and make sure that all is well. He's also quite zealous in the testing department; however, I think it's because he's a doctor who really cares about his patients' health and not just about making a buck. I also have found that when I am really sick, they fit me in even if they're booked solid that day. The staff is very friendly. He's not a chatty doctor, but he is very professional. I think he's terrific and would recommend him to anyone
It is very evident to me that Dr. Mehta cares far more about money than his patients. He gives a thorough examination but does so hurriedly and without conversation. He told me to get naked for a physical without offering me a robe or gown. He intentionally overbooks patients to maximize profits. I recently waited fifty minutes for a five minute consultation. The other patients in the waiting room also waited for nearly an hour. He forces you to schedule as many appointments as he can. He made me return to his office to review my blood work results, which were, of course, normal. When I protested that returning a second time wasn't necessary, he told me that I could find another physician if I didn't like it.
If you want a physician who is caring and accomodating toward his patients, look elsewhere. I certainly plan to.
