I was unethically treated by this doctor because of his failings of understanding posttraumatic stress disorder. Extremely judgemental and will take out his bad days on you. I do not recommend this doctor if you aren't in top shape physically or mentally.
I would not even give Gittleman ONE STAR. Disgusting bedside manner and very judgmental and RUDE. Was irritated when i looked at my phone bc my Husband was running late and was at the office looking for me... Gittleman told me to NOT look at my phone while i was in his office......a minute later... yep... HE got a text message and LOOKED AT HIS PHONE! IMAGINE?? He is a " Dr" I would rather be sick than see, also accused me of being a " drug seeker" to Colleagues which i have never ever been in my life. He is an embarrassment and should not be in a professional role that is directly with people. Would never recommend him to anyone`!
Tells it to you straight but also has a great bedside manner. Staff are very kind and helpful.
My husband went in, bloodwork was normal, my husband requested more help for his issue and was denied. Also, staff was annoyed he called for his results. I can see why they call it "practice".
I have found this practice to be friendly and easy to get an appointment with. Dr. Gittelman is a no nonsense guy who will not order a bunch of costly and random tests right off the bat. He tries to figure out your health from an objective view that is based off of the known variables that can be determined from collecting data from the visit. ie: height, weight, BP, temp, etc. After hearing your symptoms he decides if you need testing right away or need to wait it out or try another approach. Once tests ARE done he takes all the info in and diagnoses for the next step...with the hope that the next step will alleviate the symptoms. IF it doesn't then you go further. He nailed it for me and a surgeon confirmed what Dr. Gitttelman suspected. We then had a great discussion about guitars!
