Lots of suspect billing pratices at this office. They over charged me in 2014 and said it would be easier to credit it towards an future copay than refund it. On my last visit they credited it towards my copay and now over a year later I get a collection letter. After hours of pulling bank statements and credit card bills I have proof that I owe them nothing. I contacted Misty and the offices third-party billing company who both say I have to deal with the other. They don't call me back and the office manager Misty hung up when I askes about requesting records.
If it hadn't been for her expertise and pushing forward, my cancer that was lingering in my body would have gone way over looked. I thank God for her. I thank you Candy and your staff, you have treated me like family. Hugs t

Candy Burns is the best! She always listens. She cares about how you feel and what is your needs and does everything she can to help you. When I call the office the front staff is very friendly and always gets me an appointment I never have to wait. I love going to Peninsula internal medicine. I absolutely adore everyone in this office. Mickey at the front desk is always kind and puts a smile on my face. Candy Burns has been so supportive and understanding of my medical need. And of course, Dr. Jean Lawson is absolutely amazing! My countless appointments with her are always the same; kind, caring, compassionate and efficient. Its very obvious that all the staff are there for one reason; they genuinely care and are passionate about what they do. I never leave their office with even a shred of dissatisfaction. Happy to finally find an office I enjoy visiting.
