Their phone service sucks so much. They're acting like they're closed when they're supposed to open at 8:30. Currently it's 9:20. Nice.
Called today to reschedule an appointment that's over 2 week's away. Was told I would have to wait until November 9th of 2018. Are you kidding kidding me?? 2 years without a Pap Smear. Wasn't offered another Doctor. I think this is nuts. Been going to this office for years. I'll be looking for another Doctor now.
Once this nightmare of a visit is over, I'll never be back. I have terrible anxiety about the gynecologist anyway, so I hadn't been in a decade. I finally mustered up the courage to go, and am not remotely happy with the practice. Being new to the area, I chose this provider because they seem to be the only ones in town- every single office is affiliated with Chesapeake Health in some way. The appointment itself was fine, but I had some things going on that required further testing. I can see that the results have been sent to the provider, but so far no one has been able to review them and tell me anything. I've called them at least a dozen times today trying to get answers, and am just told that the provider is busy and can't review the results. Surely there is SOMEONE who can do this and give me answers. I understand that they are busy- so am I. However when someone is waiting on life and death information, it would be super nice to be able to have someone give you those results. This is why I despise the doctor's office, and why I'd risk my health rather than go back.
It's now 848 am and they open at 830 and stillhas the rrecording on that they are closed when they are clearly open.
I had good care there until my CNA decided to leave, then it seems they wanted to get rid of me because I am trans. One moment I am ok new CNA takes over and all of a sudden I am not. Clearly discrimination.
