Michelle's is the only place I will take my animals. My dog always comes home super happy and she loves her groomers. Michelle does a great job and I'm always recommending them to friends.
The staff there is excellent they treat and love all the pets as their own. When ever I bring my 3 dogs in we are greated with big smiles from everyone.
I will start this out by saying that giving a 1 star review is too high. Today was the first and last time I will ever use this mockery of a grooming salon. I work in customer service so I realize that pleasing every customer is impossible despite every effort made. With that being said, there was zero effort from Michelle's Pretty Paws from start to finish with the exception of a "pleasant" voicemail from Michelle telling me that my dog was ready to be picked up. I've been taking my dog to PetsMart to be groomed and they've been phenomenal but in my mind a little pricey at $85...so when my coworker told me that she takes her dog to Michelle's, who only ways 15 pounds less than mine and pays $30, I was willing to try this place out. BIG MISTAKE. The only thing extra I had done to my dog was a shave. My total bill was $80. So $50 more than my coworker for almost the same size dog. After dropping my baby off this morning I still didnt know what I was going to pay. The groomer (I believe her name is Mandy) told me she wouldn't know until after she was finished. (How is that even possible?) But getting passed the financial frustration my dog wasn't treated with love. The groomer didn't show any desire to make Lou feel comfortable...just dragged him back to the back and put him in a kennel, it took 4 hours for him despite an extremely early appointment at 8:30 am, his collar was so tight when picking him I couldn't get my fingers under it, and he was extremely lathargic the rest of the afternoon which isn't like him. This place was filthy when he was picked up, yet there was a soap opera on. I didn't even get an itemized receipt let alone the groomer having any kind of conversation about how he did. So...sorry to rant, but as a part of my family, I would never take a chance with this place again.
They take such good care of our kitties when they are groomed, I am sure it is stressful for cats to be shaved. But my kitties are always very relaxed when they get home! Thank you Michele Pretty Paws!
