Terrific experience with The Price is Right Live. Snack prices are pretty good too.
I'm actually sitting here right now and out of curiosity observing other people as they enter the building . I see a mom with 2 kids over 1 year old holding only 2! tickets and she is magically passing through. Hmm...
A little tip if you do decide to go there - use the stairs, their escalators are very dangerous.
Bought 2 seats for Disney Live show - one for my husband, one for me with my tiny 4 year old who is 25 percentile according to pediatrician's growth chart and still needs to seat on my lap.
How much is it for the monster truck show
It took 40min to get here, so it was great waste of time, money, gas and nerves for me.
Always a complete variety of entertainme,t at the Civic Center, from concerts to Monster Truck rallies to dog shows, there's always something happening here
Truly "magical" experience!
I was always keeping all my friends with kids up to date on their events and encouraging to attend those shows. Not anymore!
That was not our first visit to Civic center (there is not much kids entertainment in this area, so we go to all shows and circus events in here), but it'll surely be the last.
Right after previous Disney show in April, the lady riding down the escalator righ in front of us fell pretty bad and hurt her back, couldn't get up on her own, I'm not sure how bad it was and if they had to call an ambulance.
My child was denied entry, was told anyone over 12 months old needs a full price ticket no matter if he gets a separate seat or not. I double checked with the ticket window on my way out. Which I think is not fair. Since I had just 2 tickets on hand, I was basically forced to leave and sit through the show outside in front of the building like an idiot, while my kid and husband remained inside, my child standing in the lobby and crying, instead of enjoying the show.
Spent almost 100$ with all the fees they charge on top of the ticket price for those.
