my dog will never ever be returning. the staff are incredibly rude and the doctor is unprofessional. I have came twice and both times, I have had problems. every single time my dog returns from here, she whines and doesn't act like herself. she's very scared and tired and she doesn't get excited to go outside or even get a treat. she just lays in her bed crying and laying still with her mouth open. Also, the staff messed up our appointments and scheduling. They proceeded to leave my dog in a cage for almost 5 hour before calling to say she needs to be picked up. I highly DO NOT reccomend this place.

My fur baby luvs her vet. I recommend the pet insurance.

I purchased two wellness plans for my "babies", a Pom and a terrier a few months ago and I have been so very pleased! I live on a small soc sec check, so the amount is a bit of a sacrifice, but it means everything to me to have such loving people caring for my dogs' health. We've been in about half a dozen times now and the doctor is lovely. The assistants are caring. My dogs LOVE going (and the terrier is very sensitive, he would let me know if someone had been harsh to him). Both of my dogs were rescued and had been mistreated terribly, they are very sensitive, and they love their caregivers at Salisbury, MD Banfield. Yes, it's a bit pricey, but for excellent medical care, I'm willing to go the extra mile. (I pay 80 per month) I got the high-end plan for the dog who is older and had been most abused, and the "regular" plan for the other. It's an amount I don't mind giving for peace of mind and wonderful care!... MRS Marvin Kahler

I will not be returning to this location. I have had my puppy plan for almost a year and for the last 8 months it has been nothing but problems. They can't keep staff members so that tells you something there. I've had multiple appointments rescheduled and was even rescheduled 4 times for my dogs spay appointment. They advised me to switch my dog to adult food even though she is still a puppy and she has been having issues ever since. I called three weeks ago and explained of my dog throwing up and not being interested in food. They told me to switch the food up. I've been on 4 different foods and now my dog has thrown up six times in 24 hours. I even went in tonight and had her anal glands cleaned and explained that she is throwing up and they said to call if it continues. Well after I left my dog threw up twice on the way home so I pulled over to call only to be told that they close in 45 minutes and to call the pet ER. That is total bs to me beings I was 5 minutes away and just in!! I will drive an hour and fourty minutes to another Banfield before i go there again!! I will be calling tomorrow to put a complaint in!

Always a good experience. Wouldn't take my animals anywhere else. All of the doctors are super friendly and genuinely seem to enjoy their job.
