It's the first time I've ever been to a pet ER where no one tried to talk me into all sorts of procedures and charged me about half of what I was quoted. Not crazy expensive at all, especially compared to other pet ER's. Also the first time where I felt they cared about the animal and not the money. Will go back there at any time needed and will recommend to my friends!
It’s a great service to have, an ER for animals when all the vets are closed. But DO NOT go here if you haven’t eaten already or if you aren’t wearing warm clothes and especially don’t go here if you’ve got somewhere to be. I sat for 2 hours in a waiting room before they said anything to me and they were able to get me a dog blanket for when I got cold. I was so hungry I considered ordering for delivery while I was there or leaving and coming back when they were ready for me. They are all nice people but they are REALLY understaffed and it shows.
P.S this is not just a dog but a family member
Thank you so much for your excellent service and care of Lew Loo. It was sincerely appreciated. I highly recommend your group to anyone in need of emergency services.
Not only was I impressed with the sweet girl at the front desk, but was very pleased with the veterinarian on duty as well. I was given an estimate over the phone, but extremely happy when my bill was almost half of that!
My experience at this vet was extremely bad.I took me my Pitbull up there 8/9/17 because he was having breathing problems reoccurring.
I'm a bit leary of Pet ER's due to past experiences, but had no choice when I got home from work and the sebaceous cyst on my dog's had had erupted (the size of a golf ball). There was an open wound the size of a 50 cent piece and I knew I could not take care of that myself, not to mention needing antibiotics.
So they supposebly could not find anything wrong with him and my only concern was his breathing and the onley things that they could tell me are things that i already knew. We onley saw the doctor for 2 min maybe. They charged me $361.54 for a X-ray and emergency visit and medicine to cause vomiting and another to stop him from being nauseous. Overall this place is a complete rip off they didn't even give me a diagnosis. Then I go to regular veterinarian at Berlin animal hospital and within 2 min they notice his breathing and immediately checked him with a stethoscope and he said diagnosis was bronchitis so then because of the emergency veterinarian in Saulsberry not catching it know he had to be put on 3 different medicines because lack of knowledge. I will be I contact with mng trying to get some off my money back.
My Neopolitian Mastiff bloated. Luckly I knew the signs and got her to Salisbury pretty quickly. When we arrived they took her straight back and started on her right away. Can back to us and let us know what was going on and what our opions were with her. We went with surgery. They called me a few hours later and let me know how it went. And we picked her up w4 hours after her surgery. I can't thank you enough for everything you did for her. She is doing great.
